Jard Sur Mer - Hot Southern Vendee

This small, friendly campsite is set among pine trees, just 150 yards from a magnificent sandy beach & 300 yards from the centre of a charming little village.

Family Campsite in Hot Southern Vendee

Just close your eyes and imagine a campsite, beautifully laid out in a lofty pine forest, only 150 yards from a magnificent sandy beach. Imagine a site just 300 yards from the centre of a charming little village. Picture yourself spending the day relaxing on this gloriously warm, southern Vendee beach and then, in the evening, strolling into the village of Jard-sur-Mer to dine at one of its fascinating restaurants and to sample local wines without the worry of a car.

Children's Club & Swimming Pools

Let your imagination continue into the following day, sun-bathing around the superb swimming pool whilst your children try out the twists and turns of the thrilling water chute. Or walking with your family around the colourful weekly market and then down to the beautiful harbour at the foot of the village. Again, without disturbing the car.

Small, family-friendly campsite

Although we believe this is the smallest site used by any British tour operator in the Vendee, it boasts a surprisingly large array of amenities and all that you would expect of a premier 4-star site. Windsurf enthusiasts will delight in the ideal conditions on a specially designated section of our beach, one of the finest in the area for the sport.

If you would enjoy a small site and a glorious beach where you really can forget the car then this site is a must.

Jard Sur Mer

Jard sur mer is excellently positioned for some glorious days out sightseeing A short journey north you have the fashionable resort of Les Sables D’Olonne; famous for its promenade, restaurants, boutiques and evening entertainment. To the south is the ancient city of La Rochelle, birth place of the 3 Musketeers with its twin forts dominating the picturesque harbour. From there by bridge is the beautiful island of Ile-de-Re. Even nearer (a few minutes by car) is the Castle of Talmont, generations of Carisma children have enjoyed exploring this famous old castle (a previous fortress of our very own Richard the Lionheart).

Cycling enthusiasts are well catered for with cycle paths in abundance and with windsurfing, sailing, tennis, gokarting and golf all close by your children will never run out of things to do.
