Rural Brittany

La Foret is unique; it has direct access to a delightful, safe, sandy beach. Directly behind the beach is one of the best swimming pool complexes in Brittany. It boasts 5 water chutes, jacuzzi and even a small water chute in the children’s pool. Surprisingly it still remains a small, personalised campsite exclusive to Carisma clients who are warmly welcomed by its regular French customers.
Our mobile homes are set in the quiet, secluded grounds across a small road from the main campsite, in thoughtfully landscaped wooded areas, ideal for families with young children who want to play and wander freely with their new friends.
A Carisma favourite for 26 years this site is run by three generations of the Boustolier family.

La Foret Fouesnant

In the evening enjoy a stroll to one of the local restaurants or bars or venture a little further to the delightful un-spoilt village of La Foret Fouesnant.
If you enjoy water sports, windsurfing or sailing you can hire all you need from the nearby marina. For golfers there is a beautiful 18 hole course running parallel to the sea.

Concarneau and Quimper

This part of Brittany is the France depicted in paintings: rolling green hills, white beaches lazing in sheltered coves, the deep blue horizon dotted with fishing boats on their visits to bustling ports. Our campsite is an ideal base for visiting this beautiful area, with the walled sea-fortress town of Concarneau only 4 miles away, the ancient cathedral city of Quimper a short drive to the west and boat trips along the Odet river within easy reach.
