Arrival Times

Using the mileage chart, please plan to arrive at the campsite no later than 10.30pm when the gates are locked. If you arrive later do not worry but you may have to leave your car outside and walk into the campsite. Accommodation is available from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.

Europe is one hour ahead of British Summer Time during the period 30 March to 26 October

Telephoning the UK from Abroad Dial Direct : The code is 00 44 followed by the STD code without the leading zero. Cheap Rates: weekdays 22.30 to 08.00; weekends from 14.00 Saturday

The Euro (€) is the only accepted currency in France. For exchange rates please see your bank.  For ease of purchase you can now buy your currency online and have it delivered to your door the next day with www.travelifx.com  American Express, Visa, Diners Club and Mastercard are widely accepted in shops, hotels and restaurants. In France, Visa is the most commonly used credit card. Debit cards displaying Cirrus, EC or Visa symbol and Credit cards may be used to withdraw cash from cash point machines if you know your PIN. Travellers cheques are by far the safest way to carry money, and are generally more easily exchanged if in euro rather than sterling denominations

Carisma Baby Packs

Do you have an infant and wonder if you have enough space in the car for all the bulky things that baby needs? You shouldn't worry. We can provide a Baby Pack (suitable for the under 2's) for just £20 per week which includes a camping cot and high chair.

Barbeques - The Grate Outdoors!

Barbecues are ideal for making the most of those warm summer evenings and are available for hire free of charge on all our sites. Due to the pine forests of the South West Coast, at Messanges barbecues are permitted only in designated areas whilst at Biscarrosse, Les Sables, Les Conches, St Hilaire and Jard-sur-Mer we hire gas barbecues.

Bedding

Each holiday home is supplied with 6 pillows and 6 blankets ( 8 of each in our 3 bedroom models). There is NO ADDITIONAL bedding available on site so, if your party is larger than 6 or you feel you may not be warm enough, please bring extra bedding with you.

Bed linen is not provided in the mobile homes, however we do offer linen hire which must be booked at least 3 weeks before your arrival. 

£18 per Double pack (2 double sheets 2 pillow cases, 2 towels)

£12 per Single pack (2 single sheets, 1 pillow case, 1 towel)

If you require a change of  Linen or are having a 2 centre holiday, extra packs will need to be booked at the above rates.
