Windsurfing

Beach camping in itself suggests idyllic locations for windsurfers. Biscarrosse is exactly this. We are on the shores of a freshwater lake, 8 miles long, which gently shelves making it ideal for both experts and beginners.

For ocean sailing this is indeed an ideal resort. Our small campsite is only 150 yards from the beach where, at one side, there is a superb windsurfing location specifically set up for the sport and patrolled by lifeguards.

Our small campsite here is 200 yards from an ideal windsurfing beach, sheltered in a horse-shoe bay from the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sailing and Boating

In our view this magnificent lake, 8 miles by 6, is a boating paradise. You can sail or water-ski and pull up for a picnic on beautiful beaches that can only be reached by boat. A slipway is by our campsite as are inexpensive mooring facilities.

Surfing and Body-Boarding

All three are superb locations for the sport, with magnificent Atlantic rollers. Indeed, the French championships are regularly held on our beach at Messanges and Les Conches.
