So, the summer holidays were fun, but they went too fast. Six weeks always sounds like a huge amount of time to fill at the start of the holidays, but all too soon it’s time to prepare for the return to school. Did you get away this year, or enjoy the attractions, parks and activities on offer in your local area? Did you have the opportunity to catch up with family and friends? Did you find activities that kept you, as well as the children entertained? It’s back into the routine of the school run now, as shiny shoes get scuffed, trouser knees get worn and plenty of new things are learnt. Before long we’ll be crunching through the autumn leaves and getting warm with a hot chocolate, rather than cooling off with an ice lolly. With the memories of your summer still vivid in your mind, this can be the ideal time to start making a few plans for next summer. What attractions didn’t you get to this year? Where did you have the most fun? Where would you like to go on holiday next year? What activities would your children love to try out? If you are considering family holiday destinations for next year, why not take a look at the Carisma website. France remains the world’s most popular travel destination due to its chateaux, art, food, wines and warm climate. It also has some wonderful campsites! As a close neighbour, it is possible for us Brits to drive to France, which saves the cost of a hire car and the stress of a long haul flight.
