Although an increasing number of holiday makers are looking for a rural retreat in France, the coastal resorts are still the most popular destination. The southern coast may be the best known, but each year the west coast attracts many French and international visitors.
In the Aquitaine region south of Bordeaux, the sun, sea, sand and surf offer holiday makers an action packed experience.
