What we collect

We may collect the following information: – name and job title – contact information including email address – demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests – other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

Security – We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Marketing  Where you have given Carisma Holidays consent, Carisma Holidays will use information for some marketing purposes to contact with with special offer, news and other competitions which we think might be of interest to you.

Data Storage – Carisma Holidays with store and use your information for a set period.  For Marketing Purposes this will cease after 10 years from our last interaction (e.g last booking or email request), or from the point you request us to stop using your information for marketing, whichever is soonest.  At this point, your information will be minimised and purely used for analysis.

Data Profiling – Data profiling is used to continually improve the service, products and communications that we provide.  Carisma Holidays would review statistics and summaries about topics and may, for exmpale, sending you marketing email will information related to a previous booking or that customer similar to yourself have booked.

Your right to delete or rectify your information or object to your information being used.  You are in complete control of how we use your information.  You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us on 01923 287 330 or by emailing info@carisma.co.uk.  When you request to stop marketing communications please note it may take a few days but should take no longer than 21 days as mailings are prepared in advance.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.  A small fee will be payable. Please Note: if you do choose to opt out of marketing contact, you will still receive essentials call, email and SMS communications relating to the booking you have with us.

Legitimate Interests:  If you book a holiday with us or enquire, we believe that we can demonstrate that we have a legitimate interest in using your information for marketing purposes such as sending you next season brochure, however you always have a choice.  Nevertheless, if you do not want to receive these communications you can signal these when making your booking or by contacting us on 01923 287 330 or by emailing info@carisma.co.uk.

The Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you feel that Carisma Holidays has not handled your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy or in other related statements you have the right to ocmplian to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).  The ICO can be contacted by visiting https://ico.org.uk/concerns/ or calling 0303 123 1113 where you can report your concerns.

Sharing Information with 3rd Parties.  We may need to pass some limited information (such as full name, title)  on to 3rd parties for your travel arrangements such as Brittany Ferries, P&O Ferries & EuroTunnel to complete your booking.  They will then if necessary contact you via SMS (if phone number provided).  A full list of people companies can be provided upon request.

These parties includes; Payment pArtners, Travel Partners, Marketing Database Partners, Documentation Partners, Technical Infrastructure, Legal Requirements.

These companies are all based within the Europpean Union except for our webchat provider who will store your information in the European Union & the United States of America.
